Senior Accountant
You will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for a portfolio of companies in Malaysia. This includes timely and accurate preparation of finance and statutory reports, preparing full sets of accounts, processing accounts receivables and accounts payables; as well as preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets. You will liaise with auditors and tax consultants on audit and taxation matters. You will review and implement improvements to policies, internal controls, systems and processes. You will also assist in other ad-hoc projects such as SAP implementation and testing, setting up of project companies, tax and treasury work.
You should possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in audit and accounting/finance. You should be meticulous, analytical and independent with excellent communication and supervisory skills. Experience in working with overseas offices or in an MNC environment would be advantageous. In addition, you should be able to think out of the box, work well in a team and be able to deliver quality work within stipulated timelines. Good knowledge of MS Office and other accounting regulatory requirements is a pre-requisite. Experience in SAP would be advantageous.
