LION ECO Chemicals Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of LION CORPORATION, Japan, is an oleo-chemical manufacturer based in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor. Established in 2007 with paid-up capital of RM177 million and already in its expansion program, we are looking for candidates who are dynamic, self-motivated, energetic and resourceful in the following capacity/ (ies):
1. ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- To prepare month-end / year-end accounts closing and financial analysis / Cost analysis reporting, Cash Flow management & Financing Matters
- To implement internal control system and adhere to management procedures to ensure integrity of financial system.
- To liaise with the Auditors to ensure timely year end audit and reporting.
- To liaise with bankers, Internal / external auditor, Tax agents and other relevant parties.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate should have a degree in accountancy or professional accountancy qualification
- Minim UM 5 years working experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate ó ERP knowledge and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to write and communicate well. Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Meticulous and detailed in nature.
- Ability to work flexibly, under pressure and meet demanding deadline, as well as the ability to priorities and manage conflicting demands.
2. PRODUCTION MANAGER
Responsibilities: -
- To ensure that Production Section operates and functions effectively in a safe and efficient manner; according to required operating procedures.
- To review and plan for necessary resources and supporting services in terms of: manpower, facilities & equipment, materials & spare parts, available funds and expertise.
- To co-ordinate and prepare Annual Budget and Improvement Plan for Production Section.
- To review and take necessary actions to ensure full compliance to all relevant Regulatory / Government requirements, Company SHE and Production Target.
- To strive for continual improvement in the areas of: SHE, Housekeeping, Cost Control, Waste Management, Material Inventory Control, In-house Skills and ISO Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- Technical Degree or Professional Qualification.
- Minimum of 10-years working experience in production operations, preferably in the oleo-chemical environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Proficient in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.
3. ENGINEERS (INDUSTRIAL / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / CIVIL / PROJECT / CHEMICAL)
Responsibilities: -
- To investigate and formulate plans to debottleneck plant limitation and enhance efficiency and output.
- To analyse the production process flow, optimise its resource and formulate improvement plan and actions.
- To work closely with overseas technical team in evaluating and make recommendation / decision on technical option as appropriate.
- To coordinate, schedule and execute all Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) works, including Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) jobs for the Process Plants and Equipment.
- To coordinate, plan and schedule for manpower, spare parts, consumables and other services required to perform all committed E&M works.
- To organize and ensure that all the required E&M data have been properly logged & filed, and agreed weekly and monthly reports are submitted in time.
- To formulate and implement plans and policies to ensure efficient integration of all production units processes.
- To coordinate an effective repair and preventive maintenance services to achieve optimum operational standard.
- Possess leadership qualities toguideand train staff in all relevant
departments and subsidiaries to improve performance.
- Result orientated.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or relevant professional qualification. Those with tertiary level qualification and with several years of professional experience will be considered as a candidate.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a few years hand-on experience in Oleo chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical or similar field.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, independent and able to work under pressure.
- Strong in analytical, implementation skills and innovation in problem solving.
- Competent in Microsoft-Office Applications.
- Proficient in both English Language & Bahasa Malaysia.
4. CHEMISTS / RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVES
Responsibilities: -
- To coordinate all research activities and prudent testing on all Company’s products, based on approved criteria.
- To implement internal control system and management procedures to ensure integrity of Chemistry / R & D princess system.
- To be able to conduct laboratory scale study and improvements on chemicals involved in manufacturing.
- To ensure that all laboratory operations and analysis are conducted in a safe and competent manner as per required Test Methods / Standard Operation Procedures / Work Instructions.
- To ensure that all R&D data arc proper recorded, reviewed and kept for future reference or retrieval whenever required.
- To be vigilant for any non-conformance to quality specifications and initiate prompt collective actions with necessary documentations and physical segregation of materials where applicable.
- Possess leadership qualities to guide and train staff in all relevant departments to improve performance.
Requirements: -
- Degree in Science / Chemistry or relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years working experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge on organic chemistry / surface science preferably in the field of detergent.
- Meticulous and detailed in nature.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, independent and able to work under pressure and meet deadline.
- Willing to travel if need arises.
- Computer literate ó Microsoft Applications and good presentation skill.
5. IT EXECUTIVE
Responsibilities:
- To coordinate and provide technical support on hardware and software to the end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system.
- To apply IT solutions to improve workflow and business efficiencies to meet current and changing business needs.
- To implement effective processes for business support, management reporting and performance tracking.
- To recommend, develop, implement and maintain value-added and cost-effective technology solutions to enhance business competitive advantage.
Requirements: -
- Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years working experience.
- Good knowledge and experience in networking, applications & trouble shooting networks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in both English Language & Bahasa Malaysia.
6. TECHNICIANS/FITTERS
Responsibilities: -
- To coordinate and provide technical support ho ensure efficient integration of all technical / production sections.
- Coordinate an effective repair and preventive maintenance services to achieve optimum operational standard.
- Result orientated.
Requirements:-
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or relevant professional qualification or Certificate in MLVK/ SKM Intermediate Level.
- Those with tertiary level qualification and with several years of professional experience will be considered as a candidate.
- A team player with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in both English Language & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
7. FORKLIFT DRIVERS
Requirements: -
- Minimum SPM or Certificate on Forklift Handling.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in forklift operating.
- Teamwork and ability to work in shift
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & able to understand simple English Language.
8. FACTORY OPERATORS
Requirements: -
- Minimum SPM.
- Teamwork and ability to work in shift
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & able to understand simple English Language.
