ECONOMIST
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Chief Economist to conduct research, monitor economic trends and issues, and produce timely and accurate research reports on the ASEAN economies;
- Maintain economic databases and compile data for analysis purposes;
- Produce charts and write reports on monthly review of economic events.
Requirements:
- Recognized University Degree or Diploma, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines;
- Proven track-record and experience in financial / stock broking industry;
- At least 3 years’ working experience in research related field;
- Good analytical and communication skills.

VICE PRESIDENT / ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, DEBT & CAPITAL MARKETS
Responsibilities (Vice President):
- Lead a team of professionals in relation to the origination, structuring and execution of Debt & Capital Markets transactions;
- Maintain and control profitable business relationships with major clients for a particular industry group or region / country;
- Ensure proper execution of internal policies / procedures in all aspects of Debt & Capital Markets transactions;
- Lead a team in meeting the budgeted income targets set by the Management.
Responsibilities (Assistant Vice President):
- Manage relationships for Debt & Capital Markets transactions;
- Conduct financial and business analysis for corporations and industries, including research, analysis and reporting;
- Prepare public documents, proposals, submissions to government authorities & internal committees and attend due diligence meetings;
- Assist the transaction team to undertake assignments in a timely and accurate manner towards achieving the set budget targets.
Requirements:
- ACCA, MACPA, CPA, CIMA or a recognized degree; preferably in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law or Mathematics. Candidates with MBA and CFA will have an added advantage;
- Minimum experience of 5 years for VP position and 2-3 years for AVP position; preferably in origination, structuring and/or execution of Debt & Capital Markets transactions;
- Broad knowledge of all major financial products and regulatory guidelines;
- Result-driven, highly motivated, a team player and is able to work independently;
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and written skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English.

VICE PRESIDENT / ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTMENT BANKING (IB) ORIGINATION
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director, IB Origination in relation to the origination and structuring of debt & capital markets/corporate finance transactions by inter-alia identifying potential targets, performing preliminary analyses and prepare, proposals;
- Build, manage & maintain profitable business relationships with a portfolio of clients for debt & capital markets/corporate finance and the Bank’s products and services;
- Assist the Director, IB Origination in general marketing and business development.
Requirements:
- Accountancy professional qualification or a recognised degree preferably in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law or Business Administration. Candidates with MBA and CFA will have an added advantage;
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in investment banking, corporate banking, consultancy, private equity, asset management and/or related fields;or having relevant experience with top 4 accounting firms;
- Skills/exposure in areas including valuation, financial modelling,latest accounting standards / taxation laws, Bloomberg / Reuters screen etc. will be an added advantage;
- Broad knowledge of financial products and regulatory guidelines;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE FINANCE
Responsibilities:
- repare proposals and documents in relation to the origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers, acquisitions and takeovers, debt restructuring and equity fund raising such as rights issues and placements of shares and equity linked securities;
- Analyze financial information and business performance of corporations and industries, including research, analysis and reporting;
- Assist the transaction team in undertaking assignments in a timely and accurate manner towards achieving the set budget targets;
- Acquire an understanding of regulatory requirements and apply such knowledge in structuring proposals.
Requirements:
- Accountancy professional qualification or a recognized degree preferably in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law or Business Administration. Candidates with MBA and CFA will have an added advantage;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions, or in the areas of audit or consultancy;
- Interest in and knowledge of financial products and the capital markets;
- Willing to work long hours when required, results-driven, highly motivated, a team player and able to work independently;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and written skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English.

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL REPORTING
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for the Bank and consolidation of financial statements
- Assist in monitoring compliance of relevant accounting standards and guidelines;
- Compile statutory and management reports;
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, holding company, subsidiaries and related companies;
- Manage other adhoc assignments efficiently.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting and/or equivalent professional qualification;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Candidates from the banking or audit industry will have an added advantage;
- Conversant in MASB Financial Reporting Standards and BNM guidelines;
- Familiar with consolidation principles and Malaysian tax laws;
- Possess pleasant but assertive personality, strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and analytical skills;
- Good team player and able to work independently.
