Claims Executive – Medical, Travel or Compensation Claims Vacancy 2012

POSITION :
CLAIMS EXECUTIVE – MEDICAL, TRAVEL OR COMPENSATION CLAIMS

THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Claims Executive you will manage claims requirements for all compensation loss, medical and hospitalisation reimbursements and/or travel loss/reimbursements. Some of the other key responsibilities include:
- Delegating claims work on a daily basis, dependant on volume.
- Gathering all relevant information relating to the claim, liaising with related parties and taking claim through to finalisation
- Establish the required and correct details for proof of compensation of payments
- Calculate and check claims payments in line with authority levels
- Input data into all required systems in a timely and accurate manner

Your duties will include;
- Data entry
- Assessing invoices and approving within a delegation of authority.
- General filing
- Administrative support to the team
- Reporting to senior management

- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge;
- Excellent organisation and time management and
- Sound computer skills (word, excel, lotus),
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team

Head of Risk Management and Head of Finance in KL

Our client is one of the leading banks in Malaysia with numerous international and local awards in consumer and investment banking. Based in Kuala Lumpur, they seek individuals with outstanding capabilities, talent, intelligence and energy to be part of their dynamic workforce.

Head of Risk Management
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible to develop and implement risk frameworks, policies and tools to support business and support functions. You will be required to monitor the effectiveness of risk management frameworks in consistency with the Bank’s standards, processes, knowledge and technology. You will also advise risk related matters, provide independent risk oversights and monitor risks across the business in compliance with applicable laws, rules and standards.
Ideally, you should have a Diploma/Degree/Master in Mathematics, Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or its equivalent with minimum 8 years experience in the related field. You should also possess excellent negotiation, influential, mediation and conflict management skills. In addition, sound business acumen, strong strategic thinking and analytical skills and the ability to interact and deal with Senior Management effectively will be crucial.

Head of Finance
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible to support new business and growth opportunities, formulate and implement policies in compliance with all regulatory and Bank Negara guidelines as well as meet company objectives. Your duties include forging strong relationships with internal/external auditors and regulators, improving and formulating internal controls, systems and procedures as well as highlighting when deliverables are overdue for submission or inconsistent with the departmental goals.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Degree in Finance/ Accounting or ACCA/MIA/ MICPA/CPA with 3-5 years relevant experience as a Business/Financial Analyst/Accountant/ Manager in a financial institution or accounting firm. You should also be results-oriented with excellent problem solving and creative thinking skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project will be an added advantage.
