TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

It is a world leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing heavy construction equipment used in quarries and aggregates, heavy infrastructure, utilities, road construction, building, demolition, recycling, industrial material handling, and forestry as well as energy-related industries (oil & gas) industries.
In line with its strategic growth plans, it now seeks a technically competent individual for an exciting position to be based in its office in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Key Responsibilities:
- perform service and repairs, as well as installation and commissioning activities on new construction equipment
- provide technical support and trouble-shooting assistance to customers, technicians and mechanics on-site and remotely
- perform overhaul and repair of equipment components and systems
- lead and train technicians, as well as conduct training for the operations and maintenance personnel
- develop excellent customer and company relationships
Key Requirements:
- diploma or degree with at least five years’ relevant experience; preferably in a service and repairs role within the construction equipment industry
- hands-on knowledge and experience in maintaining pavers is essential
- well-versed in interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics with excellent MS Office skills
- positive work attitude and a strong team player
- strong analytical skills with prior report writing experience
- a valid driver’s license is mandatory
