NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION MALAYSIA JOB VACANCIES MARCH 2012.

1. HEAD OF MEDICAL DEPARTMENT
- Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the medical department.
- Oversee the Welfare Unit & Risk Management Unit.
- Provide advice to the dialysis centre staff on patient management.
- Review Hemodialysis patients’ progress regularly & liaise with Affiliated nephrologists where relevant.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine from recognized university.
- Post Basic degree in Medicine.
- 5 years experience co Clinical Nephrology or Internal Medicine practice, including management of patients with end-stage renal disease.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & pleasant personality.
- Good planning and organizing skills and able to work independently.

2. WELFARE OFFICER
- To plan and perform the social and financial assessment of new patients.
- To provide counselling for patients facing financial, social and family problems.
- To perform periodic or yearly review of social and financial status of existing patients in all dialysis centres.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Counseling/Social Science.
- 10 or more years experience as Welfare Officer/ Counselor/Social Worker.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and have a caring attitude.
- Possess own car and willing to travel.
- Age above 45 years old.
